Performance
For me, performing is a collaborative, in-the-moment experience. Even if I am playing a very familiar song, it will be influenced by the environment and audience.
My primary instruments are cello, piano, and viola da gamba, although I have been known to perform on accordion, concertina, guitar, found objects, and sing.
My musical styles and genres are eclectic, from my own compositions to classical works, from trip hop to world music, from improvisation to multimedia performance, from ancient music to futurism.
